Dd is starting year 3 in September and no more free lunches. She may go some days but she's happy to go pack lunch.

I haven't ever really made my kids a daily pack lunch due to them getting free meals as an infant. We make them for days or school trips etc but I need to get used to making a daily pack lunch 😅

what sort of things? She's not overly fussy with food.

ideally easily made as time limited.

Most packed lunches have a
'main' things like sandwich, wrap, bagel thin, pita
Or cheese and crackers
Or pasta salad (tuna, sweetcorn, peppers, mayo), (chicken, celery, spring onion, apple, cucumber and honey and mustard dressing)
Or some thing like a hard boiled egg, slice of fritata, cold chicken skewer.
Then a yoghurt or if no dairy in the main bit a piece of cheese.
Pot of veg sticks, peppers, carrots, cucumber etc
Piece of fruit.
Some people also add a biscuit or cake or other treat but time is usually limited so if you have a slow eater you might want to miss it out.

Have a look at bento boxes (such as yumbox and smiggle)

My kids (5 and 7) love them and love the variety.

We usually do past/wrap/sandwich with fruit/veg and maybe crisps/yogurt/biscuit.

I put them in a lunchbox with a cool pack. I'll attach some pictures
