Summertime car shouting!

Just had a fright as I'm stood at bus stop and someone just shouted really loud/ grunted out of their car window at me. This was followed by laughter. It's the first time this year, but it seems to happen to me a few times each summer. Does this happen to anyone else? No words, just a kind of 'muhhhr!'
Always a man (not the same one each time).

Not just you! :-D

Random noises, fat bitch, cunt, eggs thrown, random beeps.

Fucking delightful.

According to etiquette expert Miss Manners, the correct response is WANKERRRRRRR! accompanied by the relevant hand gesture

Ahhh, phew- glad it's not just me and now I have a perfect response!

Yes. Always in hot weather.

Not just you!

A random young woman made a roar like a lion at me as she passed me at the bus stop. Really odd

beachcomber70 · 21/06/2022 19:03

It happened to me yesterday. A youth yelled out 'You've dropped something love' as I was peacefully strolling along. I hadn't, but it made me jump alright.

Still, better than an obscenity or the car driving through a large kerbside puddle and drenching me, or cans being chucked out onto the road.

I get yelled when I'm cycling to work. 'Get off that thing and milk it' being one of the more hilarious phrases. I just ignore it.

Huh? What are you supposed to be milking? Your arse, your bike..? I don’t get it!

Some people are nobs.
