Lovely spa / retreat-type breaks abroad - your recommendations please!!

I'm going to be 50 next year and I really feel I deserve something luxurious and cossetting

I fancy a spa / wellness retreat - not just a nice hotel with a sauna but a properly indulgent escape from normal life, just for a long weekend or a few days.

Ideally in Italy as I love the food, culture and scenery, but would be open to any suggestions!

Body Holiday in St Lucia? 9 hour flight though!

Looks gorgeous. I think I'd prefer not to fly long-haul if possible...but it does look great!
