Parking for Wembley Stadium….

So was planning on getting train and tube to Ed Sheeran concert this Saturday with tickets booked weeks ago. Those plans now looking totally off the cards with the strike action looking like it’s definitely going ahead.

Of course now all official Wembley parking is booked out and I have a family of 5 to get 60 miles to a concert… can anyone please recommend any tried and tested (bookable if possible!) parking as I’ve exhausted Google at this point 🥴. It needs to be 1800m minimum as I have a van. Tia.

Book a driveway near to Stanmore Tube, walk to tube and 5 mins to Wembley Park, really easy.

There are loads of local businesses that rent their parking spaces for events (they struggle to trade anyway), it’s just a cash type thing when you turn up thing, most of them will have van access due to the industrial nature of the area.

its been a while since I’ve been but have you tried parkopedia and just park websites?

Is the tube going to be running as normal with the strikes?

Thanks all. Yea I’ve been on JustPark. Not the other one. I’m not a ‘just turn up’ personality but a friend has also recommended this EvilPea (love the username!) so may just be brave and do that! I was unsure if tube would be running but Stanmore Park good shout if so thank you.

We've booked a driveway about 10 minutes walk from the stadium through your parking space. Booked a few weeks back though when strikes were first mentioned. Not sure if there is still anything left.

Neither am I! I’m a prebook kind of person too. More so when you know it’s going to be mayhem.

one tip. Make sure you remember where you parked if you use one of the random warehouse parking. It will look very different when you come out this is not bitter experience talking

Yes I’m with you all the way on that Evil Pea. Been checking out Watford Junction parking too as Wembley and Stanmore pretty chocker. Especially as we have the van. My husband is braver than me so we’ll see who wins!! And EXCELLENT tip!! I’ll be sure to drop a pin!

Aw thanks we did and it/he was AMAZING!!!! Bad Habits my total fave!!! Those pyros aye!?!? We drive to Croxley parked in station car park. Met line straight to Wembley Park. Home by 0130. Would defo do that again if needs be. Did your parking work out fine? How was it getting out of Wembley area?

We took so many roads to get out 😂. But then got to the driveway and was blocked in! Luckily the people in the car that blocked us turned up after 5 minutes. An hour and 5 minutes home.

This sounds like a great idea- still doable for this summer do you think? I’ve looked on the website for the parking at the station and it says you can’t book in advance- did you just turn up?
