24 hours of misogyny

In the last 24 hours personally I have found out that Morrisons toilets are now mixed-sex (in my area of London at least). Complained (politely) to manager, who initially tried to justify it, then admitted that have had loads of complaints, and that he agreed with people's concerns.

Admired some gorgeous and ginormous posters of influential women which had stayed up in a college after being put up for IWD... then noticed that 1 of the 8 women being celebrated, is actually a man... (out of all the billions of women in the world...)

Let down (not a surprise) by Channel 4 News with their abysmal, biased, reporting on the 'conversion therapy + trans' issue.

The news that my workplace EDI is encouraging staff to add pronouns to their emails (been ignored by all so far), and that we have transgender training in the next few weeks.

Anyone else?

Id say life atm is a regukar misogynistic anti women shit show.
And I feel that there is also a time lag happening.

In rad fem circles the changes we have seen lately have been heartening.Tavi is closed we've seen off multiple rewrites of the law, forstater won, Marion Miller's case dropped and fair cop won and lbga are about to win, mermaispds pedoadjacent trustees and the breast binders for children issue, mainstream newspapers actuslly covering some of the stories!! .....all these things show us that the tide is actually turning.

But sadly the damage done by stone wall, by illegal policy capture in such a mainstream way is still feeding into the system.

But the positive is that when it happens ordinary people who had no idea about it are outraged and woken up to it.

Keep on kicking, we are going to win. Xx
