Do you use the Local section?

I used to read Local threads a lot just for info. Since they stopped coming in date order ice pretty much given up - what's the point in reading threads from 4 years ago?

Is this everyone's experience and has it put you off using the Local section? I have tried several times to ask MN about it.

Anyone?

No, because it’s more identifying. I realise the chance of anyone caring where I am in minuscule, but I prefer the anonymity.

Exactly. That's how it was until the recent changes. It was nice for getting opinions on local things.

I get that @anotherneutralname but I always changed enough details, and had a username just for the local section so hopefully was anonymous.

I looked for it about a month ago and I couldn't find it. I ended up having to Google it and come back into MN on a link. Then when I looked at it there were no posts with any replies. Well, about three from 2019.

I had a different name for local too @Zonder but then it reverted back to my regular MN name , odd
