has anyone ever cancelled a flight book on opodo and requested refund? I booked this morning. Midday realised there is no baggage allowance. I called to add it and the man said he couldn’t do it. Airline also said they couldn’t do it and only way to do it was when I get to the airport. I then asked opodo person if it was possible to cancel it so I can purchase directly from the website. He said let me check and said yes I will be a refund through. Thinking this is straight forward until I get email to say they have made a refund request to the airline. Man told me 7-10 days for refund but now I am getting the feeling this is going to take forever. Has anyone got a refund from opodo? If they don’t refund can I do bank chargeback? :( it’s £2,000 so im feeling really sad.
