Two weeks ago I had so much fibromyalgia in my body in the middle of the night that I deliberately, momentarily, tensed up my whole body to an extreme degree. I was hoping the fibro would let go. But what happened was I felt & heard a distinct bone-like crunch in the back of my neck. Instantly I was super alert, shit what have I done? But I could still move my head so I cautiously went to sleep. Since then I've had a lot of headaches from the back of my neck to the base of my skull. Is this likely just a soft tissue thing? I really don't want to go to the doctor because the Nhs feels hopeless at the moment and I'd probably get nowhere. Does anyone know what the crunch I heard might've been? Is it possible to fracture a vertibrae just by extreme clenching?
