Anyone going to try to get Foo Fighters tickets

for the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert? DD is a big fan and I'm thinking of giving it a go. Just wondered whether anyone knew anything about what's planned? I've seen the latest email re the line up.

fans will see it as a Foo Fighters show and it will sell out on that alone. Guarantee Roger/brian from Queen will be there. Just think Freddie Mercury tribute and work from there. Who would have thought that taylor would be having a show in his memory at the same place as one of his heroes.

They are giving early access to purchase tickets to this to people who had to tickets to the cancelled concerts (for 4 tickets max). If you know anyone that had tickets cancelled it might be worth giving them a shout

Thank you, both. I have a code for the pre-sale on Thursday as a subscriber to their emails, suspect previous ticket holders will have an even earlier one. Will give it a go x

Sorry, OP, to answer your question.... I think I won't stand a chance so not even trying lol. Especially as there are so many tickets being offered for the cancelled shows.

I hope they televise it in some way.

Seats ranged from £70+ up to over £200, standing was just over £90.

I had a pre-sale code as I had tickets for one of the gigs that was cancelled. I deliberated for ages about whether I wanted to go and in the end decided not to try. Taylor's death still feels so raw. I'm sure the concert will be amazing, but I'm not sure I can deal with how emotional I know it'll be.

Wondering how it went . Watched it on TV and it was so emotional. One of the best concerts I've watched and wish I could have been there. Absolutely cried my eyes out seeing Dave Grohl. I lost my best mate in a bike accident this year so I feel daves pain too.
