How to avoid this bug?

There's some horrific gastro bug going around at work at the moment and as I have a phobia of vomiting I am terrified of catching it.

Anyone know how best to avoid a tummy bug like this?

It’s likely Covid so maybe consider wearing a mask and social distance when around strangers is my best advice.

Here in Manchester cases are rising fast again and people seem to have worse symptoms than the last wave. Gastro issues and throat problems are a common thread.

Wash your hands, don't share work surfaces or equipment and if you really have to, give them a good wipe with some bleach or something first.

Thank you guys, rather nervous about it 😬

Don't touch your face at all, when at work, hard to maintain, but the only thing that works

I also have emetophobia and it's awful. Get some Clinell wipes and eco hydra foam from Amazon, wash your hands regularly and be careful with door handles etc.

DS had a terrible one a few weeks ago and the rest of us avoided it so it can be done. I would avoid facemasks as it will make you touch your face more.

Also I had covid and it didn't make me vomit it is far more likely to be a noro type bug.

If you do catch it op just console yourself with the fact that it's usually over pretty quick.
