Butlins tots week

Have booked to go to butlins for a tots weeks later in the year (been many time to butlins we love it) however never been on a tots week we also have an 8 year old
What's different to normal weeks? Will my 8 year old be okay with what's to do (I know the shows are all young ones but he still likes a bit of CBeebies so not worried about that) does the entertainment shut early?
I'm wondering if we should switch to a normal week Confused

Normal week. Aren't the tots weeks in term anyway?

Tots weeks are in term time and aimed at under 5's isn't your 8 year old in school then?

An 8 yo should be in school, they're not going to get anything out of a tots week, they're for toddlers.

Do you have more than one child because tits breaks are exclusively for under 5s and the terms of booking clearly states :

Please note: to book a Just for Tots break, you must have an under 5 in your party.

I can't see why you would have booked it thinking it would be in any way suitable.

Well, I’d change it to a week my DC wasn’t supposed to be in school personally.

I respect your opinion and don't feel it's necessary to drip feed our reasons
Term times suits us though 🙂

Fair enough OP, fully appreciate people do take DC out of school for holidays for their own reasons. If your 8yr old will still enjoy the shows, and the pool and your youngest loves Mr Tumble, I’m sure you’ll have a great time!
