2nd 3rd 4th in places on the housing list ( Lanarkshire, Scotland ) anyone been in a similar position and how long was it before you got an offer

I've just been offered a house. There were 3 available and I had 6 people in front of me. I thought I had no chance.
I'm silver band and I've been bidding for about a year and a half.
I'm on North Yorkshire.

I'm not your area but when I got offered mine I was 7th. Good luck x
