Congratulations on your baby op. When I had my first DD I loved picking out all the lovely girls clothes I never got to wear for her. Fast forward her and her sister are now dressed in practical rags as they both destroy clothes. Enjoy the lovely outfit stage while it lasts. I can’t even give their clothes to charity when they are finished with them.

In all honesty… save your money and get on ebay/vinted for bundles.
supermarkets do cute clothes for toddlers.

the little terrors make it their aim to stain as much clothes as possible 🤣

You can pick up those brands on eBay quite cheaply. I’d get them second hand, kids are messy!

Honestly I don’t really buy new anything unless I need something very specific. You can find great brands in charity shops and eBay. Some people are snobby about this for baby/toddler clothes but really I don’t get why. I always get compliments on how my baby is dressed and it’s very rarely anything I’ve bought brand new.

To add to the list above, JoJo Maman Bebe and Toby Tiger are also nice. I always wait until the sales though as they feel much better value.

The best brand of kids clothes for quality and environmental credentials is Polarn O Pyret. Their stuff outlasts the other brands likes boden, joules and Frugi by years. I couldn’t recommend it more. Especially their coats which you can buy/sell second hand in amazing condition. You can sell them on for almost as much as you paid for them.

I love JoJoMamanBebe, get most of their clothes there. The baby onesies aren't great though - they shrink in the wash.
I also like Fruugi.

Some other brands folk have recommended:

  • villervalla
  • maxomorra
  • lindex
  • polarn o pyret
  • smafolk
  • jny
  • duns
  • danefae
  • Blade and rose leggings
  • h&m
  • kite
  • piccalilly
  • little green radicals
  • the little white company
  • la redoute - vertbaudet is kids range
  • lands end.
  • little goat gruff
  • babi pur
  • Tilly and jasper

Renting baby clothing may be a good option instead? Since babies grow really fast, there's no point of buying expensive clothing if they're going to grow out of them really quickly. You could try SuperLooper it's affordable and sustainable :) https://superlooperlife.com/

Hope this helps!
