Items days out of date on food delivery

I received an order from Sainsburys and I didn't realise until the delivery lady had left, but several of the fresh items were out of date by days. I seem to be going round in circles on their website, does anyone know how to go about getting my money back?

Sorry, don't use Sainsbury's online but on Asda and Morrisons, you can claim a refund for those particular items--log nto your account, look at order history and select that order.

I've never figured out how to do it on the website/app but I either message on Facebook or call them. They're very quick to reply on FB

When that happens to me I phone them. They usually issue an e voucher for the cost of the out of date food. I'll pm the phone number if you can't find it.

I ended up going on FB messenger and they sorted it fast and gave me an evoucher. I was just going to leave it but food is so expensive at the moment and it was actually really inconvenient.
