As dramatic as that sounds that’s how I feel. My period is delayed although last month was early due to Covid.

Ive got all the symptoms but with each passing day my anxiety is getting worse and physically feel like I’m carry a weight around. Feel like I want to blow up..anyone had the ‘feeling’ when your period was delayed?

No that doesn’t sound normal to be honest

MyGiddyAunt1 · 10/06/2022 11:23

Maybe I need to speak to a doctor …

Have you done a pregnancy test?

I have had the feeling you describe though but it’s probably worth checking before you speak to a doctor as it will be the first thing they ask.

I had this! I posted in the conception forum because I thought perhaps I was pregnant because I was late then yesterday (4 days late according to app but 6 days according to another) I finally got my period. I felt so unwell like my body was "holding on" to what should be leaving my body I told my partner to keep checking on me in case I got a fever or keeled over. No idea why this happened but last month I was 28 days (normally I'm 32). So strange!

I also had this feeling when pregnant… took a test to prove to myself I wasn’t.

i was 13 weeks 😬

MyGiddyAunt1 · 10/06/2022 15:11

@MissBeeBee that’s exactly it! It feels like my body is holding on to something but it also wants to let go. I’m going to go for a walk after work and have an early night it..hopefully tomorrow will be better. I do feel quiet anxious and edgy..
