Should I leave Ds to it???

Ds is 15, he has no friends at all. He was upset a few weeks ago I went to a meeting with him and the school and they gave him some suggestions of how he could spend his lunch maybe helping out with 1st years in September etc.All sounded positive. He's now off for the summer.
If I left him he would spend all day on his phone/ computer. He has zero confidence, no hobbies except going to the gym..alone. I feel like I'm constantly nagging him with suggestions of how to spend his day. Should I leave him to it even though I can see his mental health is declining or keep trying to get him to do things? It's just exhausting and I really want him to help himself but he won't. Just looking for some advice really.

I’ve been in this situation and decided to leave him to it. I was tearing my hair out wanting to help, and it didn’t do me any good.
My DS went to Uni and blossomed there.

@KangarooKenny that's great to hear. I'm probably making the situation worse for us both. I'm hoping uni will help him. It's just a long time to wait!

Maybe the change to college will do him good. Is he planning on college and Uni ?
