Insomnia and appointment

I've slept 7 hours over the past three days and am exhausted. I've taken some phenergan and drunk a bottle of cider. I have a morning appointment that I'm dreading missing and considering another all-nighter. Good/bad idea? Any tips to fall asleep?

Sorry for anyone else suffering.

You might want to try some white noise. I like thunderstorm sounds, but you really need to get to the bottom of your insomnia. Alcohol isn't helping you, btw. How old are you?

I usually use music to help. I'm 44.

Peri-menopause is my guess. Insomnia is a very, very common symptom, and usually one of this earliest.

Thanks (I think 😁😁 ) @Aquamarine1029 , it's been a cycle over the past few months.

I'm hungry too, time to blitz the microwave with something...

Been there, and it gets worse. Get HRT. It's a lifesaver.
