Can recommend a film, "Saint Frances". It's only on Netflix until the end of June. Quirky, female-orientated story.

Have you watched Sweet Magnolias? Similar to Virgin River. Maid is also excellent although bit less upbeat.

Schitts creek is amazing. Some people don’t love it until end of season 2 where it gets lovely but it’s still good fun from the beginning. Even if you don’t like it at first do at least a few episodes!
