I am 30, he is 40. Been together 10 years. Obviously I cannot make him have it done but I feel he should strong consider it but he's like whatever. He said he will but then doesn't make an effort to make a doctors app.
we have 2 kids both with sen, I don't want anymore babies for sure. Life is tiring as it is. I love babies but having more of my own is definitely not on the agenda, Dp agrees - I think. Plus I don't think I could do pregnancy again anyway, even I wanted. Shit pregnancy with my oldest and resulted in an emergency c-section. Planned section with my youngest that was actually worse than the emergency. Lots of complications, was told I had a very extreme amount of scar tissue from my first which made it very complicated. Surgeon said I could have another baby buy it could pose serious risks.
i could be fertile for another 20 years or more. The thought of getting caught by accident petrifies me. Pregnancy wasn't easy on me, nor was birth.
right now, I have the Mirena which is okay. I'm due to have it changed soon after 5 years but it's completely stopped my periods which doesn't seem too bad really but I feel like I would like to go au natural. Mirena is great in many ways but it's made me spotty and hairy! No other contraception works for me at all as cause side effects. Dp does not like condoms.
I would request female sterilisation but have heard that doctors are much less willing to do this, compared to men getting the snip.
I just don't want another baby!
any couples been in this situation?
he says he'll do it, I'm not gonna force him but he's never in a rush to get things sorted!
