I was annoyed about yesterday's. I started playing very late last night, for quite close, but assumed it was a very technical term that I might not know, so I stopped at about 50 guesses and went to bed.

I was driving this morning and suddenly thought 'oh it's probably just volcano' but never had time to enter it. I'm glad I guessed it, but obviously it's officially a failure.

Lucky on the last guess!

≤45% silica, and also a stray 52% nearby. So, substances with high proportions of silica seemed like probably rocks, which in conjunction with the word length and a lot of positional words like 'below' were suggestive that volcano might be worth trying (if not the solution then possibly in the text).

yesterday i got the summer that didnt happen, or something - Year without a summer, which eventually led me to the answer
