Weird plane on Flight Radar

Fellow FR fans, any thoughts on this one?

There are often helicopters out circling over Dover but I can't work this one out. The plane looks too big to be doing such small circles (obviously I know it's probably not to scale!).

It's not the red arrows out practicing is it? I read earlier they're out for the jubilee over the weekend.

Migrant spotting?

Probably. Its a bright, clear day and the sea is very calm right now so perfect conditions really.

Has it taken off from a ship?

Have a Google of AR3A. It's a drone.

So it's a spotter drone?

They're hovering over one or more boats crossing with migrants until the border force boats can arrive to escort or collect them.

And it's not a bright clear day in Dover - it's been raining on and off.

Oh really? I'm not far away and it's beautiful here!

Yep - I'm sat here watching the rain! Whereas I was over in Betteshanger earlier and it was blazing sunshine!! Gloomy and drizzly here.

I did Google but clearly not well enough. Thank you! Mystery solved.
