Our quarterly trip to the local recycling centre tomorrow ... what have I forgotten to add to the boot of the car?

So far I've got

bag of clothing for recycling (not good enough for charity shop)
bag of old shoes (ditto)
chipped crockery
old kitchen utensils, blunt knives and dead baking pans
box of broken terracotta pots from garden
old paint cans (14!)
bag of dead potting compost
3 bags of garden waste too big to go on compost heap
couple of old remote controls with batteries removed
box of ancient yellowed books

Every single time we go to the dump we come home and almost instantly think of something else we should have taken ...

Go round each room and look about.
Shed etc.

We did a tip run sat and got home and realised we left something from the pile! Thankfully we live 5 min from the tip so it's not a problem.

Have you checked the garden, shed and cupboard under the stairs? This is where our stuff lurks. We also have a bag hanging on a hook in the hallway that always gets forgotten.
