Crafty people please help!

I am old

but when I was younger, in schools you could get this holographic papery metallic stuff with loads of hexagon shaped holes cut out of it, about 1/4cm diameter

so the paper itself was like the remainder of someone having cut out and taken lots of the hexagons away. Am I making sense?

if you CAN remember this stuff, please could you tell me what it might be called, and where I might find it?!

This sort of stuff? It's called punchinella apparently (I googled sequin waste) and lots of places sell it.
