Do pen pal services still exist for kids?

Many moons ago, when I was a teen I had several pen pals from the U.K. and USA. I used to absolutely love getting letters and correspondence from my friends in other places. I think I went through some kind of agency/organisation to first connect with them.
My 14 year old dd is quite lonely and would love to make new friends and a few pen pals would be great for her atm but I know the world has changed a lot since I was a kid and wonder if this is even a thing anymore?

I'd love that too! I met friends on holiday when I was young, in say Greece, Spain etc when I was young and I cherished those letters. I remember my own pal was from Ireland, so obviously not that far away ( we're in the UK).

To be honest they might get on, he's just obsessed with drawing and marvel, nights arts amazing

I'm in a couple of facebok groups for pen pals and I do see quite a few people asking for same age penpals for their children, so if you're on facebook, try there?

Ahh im.not on fb unfortunately. Do you know any websites that are safe for kids? My son has asd, so it's quite a one way street with conversation etc...

I used to have over 100 pen pals when I was a teenager. I tried to get my 14 year old twins pen pals last year but they were all from America and only wrote a few times.
if your daughter is interested, she can write to one of my twins?
