I have had a bit of a rubbish week - sick bug, tyre blowout on the road, complaint at work (not upheld), sick bug again. Now it is half term & I only have to work one morning, which is good.
However, I feel like everywhere I look, people are going on holiday or having parties! We have a couple of local things planned, a theme park day (with passes) & going to visit PIL again. Haven't been to a party in ages & even when we do it's the same people each time, usually family. Just makes me feel rather unpopular.
Am trying my hardest but everybody is busy this half term. We are only seeing one friend, possibly one other family if they are free. DS2 is autistic & would benefit from playdates, but he is sick so can't even come on the one arranged!
Probably a rant about nothing, but I feel like I'm letting the DC down this hols by not doing what other people are.
