I’m current sat in a hospital bed for the past 3 hours waiting to see what’s wrong. I’m going for an ultrasound soon to see if it’s OBGYN issues not appendicitis.

please pray that I do not have to be here overnight :( feeling alone

@FuchsAndMöhr Basically I’ve been having no appetite and abdo cramps since Monday (like I’ve not eaten since yesterday lunchtime at 12 o clock and I’m still not hungry)

my mum was sick of me complaining so sent me to OOH gp

@Orchidflower1 I was put in the bed place because they wanted an opinion by the doctor. From what he’s said he thinks it’s more OBGYN than appendix considering I look ok

Update: doctor said I could go home and they’ll call me in for a scan. He said it could be a ovary cyst

needing the mumsnet knowledge and support today. I had a smear test on Monday, nurse said cervix looked good but I bled a little when she got the brush out for samples. All good, went home, light spotting but nothing concerning. Tuesday, Wednesday brown light discharge. Cut to last night, stood up and felt like heavy period. Started to bleed and has kept on through the night, like day 3 period. Of course I’m super anxious, why now? I will call the nurse this morning for advice and some peace of mind. Anyone had experience similar - I’m spiralling a little. I’m 43, healthy, not on birth control and not sexually active (sorry for the TMI ;) Dx

@D2023 hopefully it’s nothing to worry about. Probably just upset your cervix with the spectrum. But always worth getting checked x
