child benefit payment

I’ve just been checking through my banking app and can see a child benefit payment of £36.25 is due to go into my account tomorrow. I haven’t had any changes since DD2 was born in 2012 and DD1 is 12 so it’s not due to stop. Has anyone else had an extra payment? I’m going to try and ring them but thought I’d ask here and see if I’ve missed anything.

Mine is the same just 1 weeks payment I’ve not seen anything about it

I saw someone else post about this on another forum. They called the HMRC and it turns out because of the jubilee, they are paying one weeks worth early, and the rest will come later.

Oh really, that seems a bit strange. Mine is due on Monday anyway

Mine is the same but the full amount is due on Monday so not sure why they would split it up as Monday isn't a bank holiday now?

Seems very odd.
