Broken washing machine help!!!

Something has blocked the filter and we cannot unscrew it (we've tried using pliers and it's snapped the actually plastic filter handle)

Any suggestions?

I had this problem the other week, called beko and they suggested tipping it backward to release water pressure then trying unscrewing again. To my amazement it worked right away!

Interesting. It's under a counter so I'll have to get someone to help me move the damn thing but worth a try. There is absolutely nothing to get a grip on though as the handle is completely broken.

It's also full of washing.
