Having just had my hair done this morning l have just caught sight of him on the news and wondered. Do you think his hair dresser does that to him on purpose?

He does it to himself on purpose. If he brushed it into shape it would look fine. It's an affectation.

Bakedpotatoesfortea · 25/05/2022 13:24

Yes. He goes in and says "what can you do that will make me look endearing, approachable, unthreatening, slightly clownish with a toddler feel?"

He doesn't want to look too suave or sensible, that's Rishi Sunak's job. Bojo's is to be the Mr Blobby face of a very nasty party, so that at the opportune moment the right wing press can swoop in, scape goat him and get somebody suave and sensible in like Sunak instead.

And it will probably work. Maybe they'll tank Sunak, but it will be the next one like him if not.

He does very well at being the 'loveable rogue' or 'oversized private school boy in a suit for his cousins wedding' kind of thing. When really he's all kinds of awful underneath. It's a great distraction, and people fall for it

He doesn’t brush it intentionally, thinks it’s a part of his charm. Wanker.

Solongtoshort · 25/05/2022 13:35

If l went into work with my hair that messy l would be amazed they wouldn’t pull me to one side and say do you need a hair brush.

also imagine admitting you where his hairdresser, the shame.

I hadn’t thought it might be part of an overall grand scheme, really l just thought he was someone who didn’t look in the mirror.

He cuts it himself and deliberately ruffles it before going on camera.

It's a good barometer of how much he's winging it.

Yes, he’s been seen ruffling it loads of times before the camera rolls. All part of the carefully managed Lovable Jolly Boris act. I can’t believe people fall for it.

pollyhemlock · 25/05/2022 14:58

If you look at pictures of him at Oxford his hair was perfectly normal. It’s an affectation. He thinks it makes him look cuddly and relatable.🤮

It's done to disguise the inner psychopath.

SirenSays · 25/05/2022 15:02

Ruffled hair and mismatched mugs, its all part of his routine. He makes us look like muppets when next to other leaders.
