Discoloured denim help please

Hello,
My elderly relative has a much loved and well worn denim jacket but has a yellowish mark on the crease of the collar. I'm helping him out with laundry and have washed it but cannot remove the mark. Does anyone know what I can put on it? I've tried vanish too but no avail.

Discoloured denim help please

It may just be due to the age of the jacket, he's had it for donkeys years.

I'd say that's probably more uncoloured than discoloured and just natural wear in denim.

Yes I think so. It looks awful though and he keeps asking me to try and remove it but as it's due to normal ageing of the fabric I don't think I'm going to be able to
Thank you

You could try dyeing the whole jacket, not sure if it would work so think careful before you do

Or pehapes you could customise it and sew some patches on and over the part and maybe the elbows
