He'd have been married a long time ago and not buried a long time ago. I thought that CEJ had saved his life, not stolen all of the women.

Also that he came to town like a Mid-Winter storm, not like a movie star.

Has anyone else had any lyric related revelations lately?

Just heard Tubthumping by Chumbawamba on the radio (we are driving in Europe so cheesy pop on the radio!) and DH just told me that they’re saying ‘pissing the night away’ in the background. I always thought it was ‘kissing the night away’ but of course that doesn’t make as much sense in a song about drinking….

Kissing the night away was the radio edit I think (and the version that appeared on TOTP!)

@WalkerWalking well that explains it. When DH corrected me we were listening to French radio and it definitely was ‘pissing’ in the version they were playing and I wondered why I’d not ever heard that before!!
