Is this a CF move?

Is it considered a CF move to put offers in on two different houses? A and B are on the same estate for sale, both with "123" as asking price. Two others on same estate sold recently (in the last month) for a bit lower so wanted to offer that lower amount to both A and B but wondered if that was considered rude.

No I don't think there is anything wrong with it. You are offering for both to test the waters. It would only be wrong if you had agreed a sale subject to contract on both.

Yes I think it’s rude, what if they’re both accepted? You withdraw from one and then mess around anyone else who’s interested in that one

We did this when we were looking. The likelihood of either being accepted, let alone 1 is low. At one point we had 3 offers is an non were accepted.
So long as you let the vendor know asap for the house you would back out of should you get them both.

Thank you for the replies. As soon as one was accepted we'd back out of the other. Which I guess could be riskier to us if anything happened further along the line. The 2nd person wouldn't want an offer from us again but it's a risk we're willing to take to try our luck at getting one of them at a slightly lower price
