About to move into new house. I’ve got 17 windows to get blinds for. I’ve been looking at day to night blinds but they seem expensive, at least £500 for them.is there anything cheaper or good places to buy them- don’t need them fitted.

£500 for 17 blinds seems cheap, I have just paid 450 for 3 Blush

Ok I suppose I’m going for cheap options as I have lots to pay out atm. Just wondered if there was a cheaper option…

That's about 30 per blind , won't get much better than that!

That’s as cheap as they come, other than buying some cheap sheets from Amazon and cutting them ip and sticking them to your window with sellotape I’m not sure you can do it cheaper. Our living rooms were six hundred quid for four and they weren’t the most expensive.

That is really cheap! The IKEA paper blinds are more expensive

nearlyspringyay · 19/05/2022 10:34

Actually take that back - have a look at IKEA

LeeMucklowesCurtains · 19/05/2022 19:16

Bloody hell that’s a good price. I honestly don’t think you’ll find cheaper.

I used blinds 2 go.

Baconandmaplesyrup · 19/05/2022 19:59

Op why don’t you just blind the windows that you need doing, for light or privacy, and leave the rest, then do them as you can afford them? That’s what we did. You can buy voiles or something to tide you over for a few quid.

it’s better to get nice decent blinds and do in stages than buy cheap crap ones that look it. And you really are into the cheapest of the cheap. Seldom do cheap blinds look like anything other than cheap blinds. And the blinds can really impact the look of the room.

it’s really not something I’d cheap out on unless I really had to and there was never any hope of replacing and getting better.

Thanks- will look further then. Don’t really want cheap looking blinds and want them to look good. Maybe I should look at paying a bit more for them ….
