Unexpected weekend alone...

What to do? Husband going away unexpectedly and it's too late to arrange stuff with friends. Haven't spent a weekend on my own in a long time. Should really relish the me time but I find myself a bit lost which is a bit pathetic! No kids at home, but I do have a puppy to keep me company.

What would you do with a weekend to yourself in my shoes? Have come on here for inspiration.

I love weekends to myself .... just pottering around at home, on my own, with no expectation to cook a 'proper meal' is my idea of bliss. Grin. In theory there's no reason why I can't do this when DH is here, he enjoys cooking, happily amuses himself but there's something nice about just being ALONE ! And I apologise if that sounds insensitive to those who have no choice about being alone.

I love empty weekends like this. Appreciate this is only because they're rare for me. This is what I'd do:

Saturday
Lie in bed with cups of tea reading phone
Get up and go for a swim
Home, shower, supermarket for nice food
Cook in the afternoon - a batch of something healthy but also delicious
Dog walk
Telly/book
Bed

Sunday
Dog walk
Go on my WattBike
Long bath
Nice lunch - maybe fry up?
Telly/book

I wouldn't plan anything just see what you feel like as it goes.

I'd deffo do a few nice walks with the dog, nice wine, fave food and Netflix at some point though.

Jealous as actual fuck.
