How do these shoes work?

I'm not sure my legs are long enough… are anyones legs long enough?

What holds them up? What do they attach to at the top?

How do you put them on? Do you have to put your foot in at the top and then spin round and round until you reach the bottom?

And do they really stand up on their own when you're not wearing them? Or lay sort of droopily along the floor of your wardrobe?
Maybe you would have to hang them from the rafters.
Either way, they are spectacular.

I’ve realised what they remind me of - asparagus spirals. Watching Delia wrap pastry round asparagus and no offence to Delia but they always looked a bit shit when cooked.

Great point - I bet they look very sad when not being worn. All droopy and misunderstood. Would be a lot more creepy to have them standing up in the corner though!
