I'm dipping my toe in the murky waters of OLD. Just wondering why so many men have multiple profiles, often with mostly the same photos. I've swiped left on one today and it must be the 5th profile of his that I've seen.

I had that exact experience today with someone I was chatting to. I screenshotted the two profiles (same pictures different names) and sent it to him. He acted shocked and claimed fraud. I didn't hang around to find out (blocked and deleted). He may have been right but I haven't got the time and energy to give people the benefit of the doubt because there are plenty of catfish!

I wondered if they think it increases their chances of a right swipe?

My block list is huge 😂

I bet some have abandoned profiles then forgotten the log in details and created a new one. Same with FB profiles there's always the odd person who has about 5 profiles. So in other words, incompetence.

Incompetence yes 😂.

I do think some are deluded enough to think that a one photo tweak on profiles 2 plus may give them more of a chance. It's a numbers game innit 😂

Or they might be scammers.
