Just for fun, things that put you off a dating profile

Joined online dating a week ago and some of the profiles are off putting. Not necessarily because of them as a person, but because of what they misguidingly write/pictures...

Mine so far are:

Having a picture of a saying or a view as their main pic.. I'm looking to date a view! 😆

Similarly, only posting a picture of half their face or with sunglasses on. One is even in a full ski outfit complete with big goggles!

Pictures with their kids..

Writing "don't know yet" in the bio..

Stating hobbies which they rarely do such as saying they love skiing but have only ever done it once in 2006..

I'm sure there's more 😆

Yeah one guy had all 5 of his photos with his arm round a young woman - who I suppose I should assume is his daughter but it just looked a bit ‘coupley’ for a dating profile and having done the needy step daughters thing, not someone I would date anyway!

Anyone who messages “hey” or “hey sexy” and nothing else. Boak.

Any man who is pouting in his photos - so many of them seem to think the duck face is an appropriate pose for a 50 year old man. Just no.

"My kids are my world"

... well they should be mate, what do you want a parade?

When they're oozing negativity in their bio starting all the things they're not looking for, like they're expecting perfection. And usually from some ugly/ average looking man.

Oh yeah or saying "No drama". It just comes across as sounding twattish.

There's the ones where they are stood with their mate/s and you scroll down to disappointed it's not the hot one!

‘Travelling’ pics that involve swimming with captive dolphins, riding an abused elephant or standing next to a drugged tiger.

Not cool.

Pictures in goggles / sunglasses
Pictures of their kids
Skiing pics

Anything in bio that alludes to 'crazy women', 'no drama', 'easy life'

God I just couldn't do it again it was soul destroying

You've just reminded me of a female comedian, not British but I can't remember where she's from who did a whole thing about men posing with fish they've caught for their profile picture.
It was hilarious if I can find it I'll post a link.
