I'll start.

Why do people grow marrows? Surely the most boring vegetable ever. If you grow your own, please don't try and give them to me.

I can't help you with the marrows, but I LOVE courgettes.

I don't have a garden, and all my gardening friends know that I am the go-to courgette glut foster home.

They tend to happen due to courgette gluts, sometimes it's challenging to keep up with very productive plants.

Why do people walk around with their phones a foot from their face having loud conversations even if they are walking along the road with no one around to hear the conversation? I'm genuinely intrigued why people do this.

When they could just hollow out a nice large marrow and attach some string handles. Particularly good tip if you want to carry a dachshund puppy in your bag.

Ok, il answer that one - because I can afford it and going into Louis Vuitton/Chanel or wherever and purchasing a beautiful bag in lovely surroundings make me happy, as does carrying around said bag. Having an expensive handbag and shoes also "elevates" what can be a reasonably inexpensive outfit and makes it look better. IMO.

My question..."why do people obsess over what other people spend their money on?" I usually assume people just spend their money on what they like to spend it on and I literally couldn't care less! If you have any better answers please do let me know..

Why do people facetime/watch videos from their phones with no headphones on busses and trains? A cheap pair of headphones are less than a tenner.

Those lucky marrow growers can use the marrow flowers, stuffed with mozzarella and anchovies then deep fried, a delicious early summer treat!

@mathanxiety I understand video calls but it's when they are holding it out flat with the speaker bit closest to them .
