Easiest way to have a virtual document/list that multiple people can add to from their phones?

We have a big holiday coming up with extended family, does anyone know if I can create a shopping list somewhere that multiple people can add things to ideally easily from just a phone? I know we could just WhatsApp message but I thought it would be easier if we could all update one list.

there must be such a thing!

Stick a spreadsheet on One Drive or Google Drive. You can use an app to access these from your phone.

Notes, on iPhone… if you all have iPhones!

Reminders on iPhone. Me and dh have our shopping list on it and we can both add things to it

Google sheets - anyone can access (and edit with right settings) with just a link, from any kind of device.

We did this last year with a Google Doc. No need for everyone to have a Google account, just share the link into your WhatsApp group.

Or Google keep

Quip

Another vote for Google - accessible from anywhere by anyone with the link using any device that has an internet browser.

Google docs :)

I would say Google Doc but I'd lose my mind if too many people started commenting unnecessarily on it.

Google sheets is a pain in the backside, tried it with a group recently.

The 'To Do' app is great, very easy to use and linn between people. You can create lists/items on there and make it available to link to just certain people. I'm using it for a big group holiday this summer with lists for who is taking what, a list for locations/directions of local activities and then another to track our spending whilst there so we can pay each other back correctly at the end.

We use Google sheets for a biiiigg holiday where you need to worry about e.g. The number of packets of pasta you want or Google keep for a smaller holiday. Pretty sure they have an iPhone app too but not certain.

Another vote for Microsoft To Do - very easy to share shopping lists, and you can get a desktop version too as well as the phone/tablet app. Love it!

Thanks all! Looking like To Do or a Google doc will be the way forward

We use Cozi for our shopping lists, it has a calendar function and a To Do list too
