Instead of cocking about on MN? I should be cleaning the house...however I'm not - I'm sat on the sofa reading random threads 😫

I should be getting some productive house chores done while toddler DD naps in her cot, but I'm relaxing on the sofa while she naps in my arms! We both love a contact nap.

We're away for the weekend, just back from the beach, going for a swim in the pool shortly and sitting about relaxing outside the caravan for a bit now.

Should be working, I'm at my desk looking productive 🤣🤣

The food shop

Cleaning, gardening and sorting out the shed and my car boot. At least half the laundry is done. So not a total write off!

Continuing to weed the front garden but I’ve already done a lot* and my back was aching.
*About ten billion self-sown forget me nots. At least they pull up easily though.

Exactly what I'm doing now. Saturdays are chill days.

There's definitely things I COULD be doing, but on weekends I don't feel I SHOULD, other than cook for me and my daughter. And walk the dogs.

I should be stripping the colour off my hair, ready for a trip to the salon next week.

But it stinks so I’m putting it off 🙄

I should always be cleaning my house. Instead I'm sitting on my arse, because there will always be a job to do but I deserve a rest sometimes too

Nothing. I'm sitting with Ds2 while he reduces his lunch to its component elements.

Should be having a sleep, before work tonight.

Clearing out the pots and containers which are still sporting the dead remnants of last year's plants. I'm just having a coffee first. ☕ And waiting for the wind to die down a bit.🍃

Nothing. I've been for a lovely walk this morning, found a park I'd never seen before, had lunch and a piece of rhubarb & cherry cake. DH finished work at 12:30 so we went & got the shopping in. BBQ at friends' house tonight.

Should be washing the dishes and dealing with my pile of washing however just watched starwars and taking child to the park.

I should be tackling the front garden, but it is still in full sunshine so I'm going to wait until later this afternoon. I should also be doing some laundry, but I can't be bothered.

I'm really pissed off with DH today. I would normally be doing the weekly food shop and other stuff but have told him he can do this today.

I should either be sorting out the spare room to turn it back into a use able office/guest room rather than dumping ground.
Or marking some essays.
Or doing some of the house tidying up and sorting that has been neglected (since October) recently.

Instead, I am here bored scrolling and drinking a pint of peppermint tea to feel somewhat virtuous.

Ironing. I'm not, obvs.

My expenses for March and April. Instead I've eaten 5 packs of crisps, Percy pigs and had a snooze. It's ridiculously sunny outside but I'm in the lounge snuggled in a blanket enjoying the quiet.

I have 2500 words due in on Monday. I'm 500 words in and losing the will to live.

I hate uni

Marking English books and DT booklets. I haven't even opened them yet.
