Making Nutramigen - help!

My baby has been on Nutramigen for CMPA for a week now. We have been making the bottles with cool boiled water, adding the formula and keeping in fridge until needed. At night time when baby wakens , it is taking far too long to bring the bottles to room temp as I don’t want to give my 8 week old a chilly bottle .
I have read that others make up the cool boiled water into their sterilised bottles and leave on the counter until needed - then add the formula and give . This would be much better however how long is it safe to leave cool boiled water sitting out in the bottles with lid on?
Would be great to hear from other mums who use Nutramigen x

What does the tin tell you about how to prepare it?

It's not the water that's an issue; powdered formula can contain bacteria that can cause illness in your baby. Does it say to make with hot water or cool boiled water?

@QuestionableMouse did you actually read the op? I am guessing not as you are obviously not a mum who has used Nutramigen because that has to be made with cool boiled water.

Two CMPA kids. I did read the post but we used Neocate (had to check) which uses hot water. So yeah, I'll concede that my post may not be the most helpful.

Our nutramigen dts are now 7 so my memory might not be great. When we made a bottle we would part fill up another for the next feed, so say 30ml that would be cool by the time it was needed then topped up with 60ml, they were left on the worktop. Alternatively we would use a thermos. Our dts would only drink it if it was hot though.

Yes the Nutramigen LGG definitely needs made with cool boiled. It says on the tin, and I also rang the helpline to check.
Apparently before it changed ingredients it used to be made with hot water. It is 100% to be made with cool boiled now though, hence my question about how to safely store cool boiled.x

Boiled water should be fine to store at room temperature for a few hours. Maybe pre measure the powder too and then just tip the powder into the water when required. If you want to minimise the time the water is left out then when you use one bottle of water for formula, boil and fill the one for the next feed.
