Driving test anxiety

I'm due to take my 3rd driving test soon. I keep messing up because of anxiety. On my last test, I tried having a banana, rescue remedy and some water to help with nerves but it didn't help. I've been suggested beta blockers but don't feel comfortable taking those. I've been having the lavender Kalms but it's too early to say if they work or not. I know I'm a good driver but as soon as the examiner sits next to me, I forget everything I know. My instructor has said it's not the be all and end all if I fail, but it is to me as the career I'm going into requires a license and I don't want to put all this hard work into a degree and not be able to get a job because I can't drive. I'm feeling pretty deflated, any tips? :(

Hello! Hope your well if you've taken your test hope it went well. I know exactly how you feel been dealing with Anxiety for years and I am on beta blockers! They help they get rid of the physical symptoms, helps moods aswel and calms you down etc nothing to worry about. I've been on them for years! Anyway looking for some advice myself if possible. I had my test coming up last year and closed to the time my instructor kept "shouting" at me and making me feel really anxious I kept messing up really bad and he cancelled my test behind my back. I feel like I'm never going to get over this anxiety on the road!!! Anyway he always said I can drive but I'm too anxious how did your lessons go? Have your lessons been fine or have you been anxious through them too? Good luck
