Looking for peoples experience with this medication. I took my first dose this morning for anxiety. I am really desperate for this to work so 🤞🏼 there’s some positive experiences!

My sister, partner and several friends have all been on it at some point. None of them have had bad side effects, it's worked for them with some being on higher doses than the others, and those that have stopped taking it came off easily and didn't need to go back on.

It has changed my life op. I take it for anxiety which started due to menopause. The first 2 - 3 weeks were really hard going though, not going to lie. I had every side effect going and was extremely distressed and phoned the emergency doctor at least twice. They urged me to stick with it which I did and it really has been a life saver once it settled down.

Life. Changing. Starting was easy, no side effects at all. Stopping took a long withdrawal but was so, so worth it.

I have been on it since Nov and was in an awful place. It took a few weeks to kick in but has helped me so much.

Lovely stuff. I started on 50mg when my DH was told he had 4 weeks to live. That wasn't enough so after about 3 weeks it was doubled to 100mg.
That was 18 months ago and I'm still on it.
Oh, and DH is still alive because the consultant misdiagnosed him for which I will never forgive him

I put in 30lbs and had, hair loss and bad muscle twitches. I was like a zombie in it. Went off it after 3mths

I've been on it for about a year, and I feel like a new person. To the extent that people I haven't seen for a while comment on how I seem different and "really well" etc. I didn't think my anxiety was all that bad, but now I can see that it was much worse than I realised! The first few weeks were tough, I felt really sick and didn't sleep well. It was so worth sticking it out!

I found it helped take the edge of my anxiety but after 6 months I started to feel completely flat. Emotional bluntness I think they call it. I started to reduce the dose come off it all together. I did the trick and got me through a rough patch but long term it wasn't for me.
