Recurring bad dreams?

Does anyone else have these? For years it used to be that I was back sitting my state exams and knew nothing. Thankfully while panicking in the dream once I woke it was forgotten.
In the last few years though since I turned 45 I keep dreaming either I'm pregnant or I've had another baby. My children are all adults now and dh and are finally getting freedom back.
The dreams are so vivid and bloody scary, as I'm getting near 50 they tend to leave me unsettled for days😆
Does this happen to anyone else? Honestly some days I can't wait to just go through menopause and know it's not possible anymore😂
I loved rearing mine but I'm too old now and the thoughts of a toddler in my 50s and a teen in my 60s leaves me cold.
I've a coil so I know it's not likely to happen but I wish my brain would stop producing these scary home movies while I dream!

When DS1 was little I was always dreaming that I'd left him somewhere accidentally on his own!

My recurring dream before children was fire and they used to absolutely terrify me. The worst part was I'd always think "I've had this happen in a dream so many times but it's real this time!"

Yes I often have quite violent gory dreams, getting chased, stabbed, being bitten by a dog...its awful esp if I wake in the middle of the night because I cant go back to sleep.

I get recurring ones about me being treated like shit by people, and I just end up bawling and screaming at them, and no one listens to me.
Also dreams about things like tsunamis, nukes... major events.

When I was at uni and for a while after, I used to have a dream where I was being chased by men fully dressed in black including their whole head. I would run away from them and finally get to my mum, but then she’d hand me over to them and they’d chop my head off with a sword. It was so scary. Another one is where I’m in the back of the car but I’m leaning over into the front trying to drive it. The car is out of control, eventually I drive off an edge/jetty/cliff into the sea. Sometimes the children are in the car too, other times I’m alone. I been having this one on and off for years. It’s terrifying.
