I've tried googling this, but does anyone know if Funeral Directors can tell you if they done a service for someone? Or would this be private information? I'm trying to find out where a relative was buried & getting nowhere using online sites

Do you know which undertaker? No harm in asking them. If they can’t tell you, they’ll tell you why.
If you know the date of death you can often look at a commemorative book at the closest crematorium.
If burial there’s a site called Find a Grave you can search free.
If you think a notice was put in a local paper you can search that online.
Sometimes information comes up if you just Google the person’s name and area where they lived.

Thanks. I have no idea which one was used, but I think I've narrowed it down to 3. I will email them to ask.
I have tried googling the name etc, but nothing
