Before I start I just want to say that I've been on mumsnet for years and I'm not a troll. If in doubt please search my name and see my previous threads!

Anyway.

I had a major accident last June and a mix of comfort eating and not being able to move has meant I have ballooned. Since I've been able to walk again in January I've been working on losing weight (3ish stone down, wooo). None of my bras fit me anymore and I'm now able to get out of the house so I would actually like to look presentable.

So DW and I just measured my boobs and I'm a 54 E or F. 54!!!!! What am I meant do with a bloody 54??!?!?!?

I literally cannot find a single bra online that goes above a 48. Am I destined to be bra-less until I've dropped the weight or are there bras that exist somewhere on the internet?

Please help. My back hurts and I really don't know what to do here.

Do you measure 54 inches when measuring tightly underneath the breasts?

What size were your old bras?

ElenaSt · 12/05/2022 15:07

You can buy bra extenders which might help with existing bras where the cups fit you.

This type of thing.

Yes did you measure tightly underneath your breasts with the tape measure to get 54?

The biggest I got pre-accident was 48GG. They fit well. I didn't wear a bra for ages (well, I'm still not) since the accident happened but I did gain a lot of weight so I can well imagine gaining enough to go up 6 inches.

I was thinking of triumph but they only go up to 50 back size. What about getting in touch with Molke, ive heard they are very helpful. Google them.

Try www.belle-lingerie.co.uk they have lots of bras for different sizes. Bra extenders are. A good idea if you can get the right cup size
