Are there any vaguely educational things that your 8 year old likes to watch on YouTube?

Just looking for ideas so that I can make suggestions. My 8 year old just wants to watch Ladbaby, and I'd like him to branch out a bit a watch something a bit more beneficial sometimes.

Brave wilderness - an animal based one along the lines of Steve Irwin 😄

My son loves Mark Rober (fun science/engineering stuff), and loads of different channels that do amazing engineering builds with Lego. That's when he's not watching irritating shrieking fools playing Roblox and Minecraft.......

TedEd have good quality educational videos that are enjoyable to watch

My eight year loves Dr or Mr DeMaio, I think he’s an American maths teacher? He has lots of short episodes on things like sharks, volcanoes and the solar system. Also Digital Corridor which is a group of very enthusiastic young men who create and critique special effects and also have some very interesting pieces on the planets and their relative sizes!

The Kid should see this

The website links to hundreds of fascinating YouTube videos.

How Ridiculous.

Three aussie blokes dropping stuff onto other stuff and seeing what can withhold what. It's very safe for kids, not even any bad language, and whilst it sounds daft, they incorporate plenty of interesting concepts (gravity, surface tension, thrust etc).

Kurzgesagt.

We just got a very cheap subscription to Curiosity Stream though, which is curated rather than a free for all of creators. We have blocked youtube on their devices. Let's see how that goes.

Adventurer Agents? The family who used to do the Axel show. My DS enjoys their adventures, learns about nature, they go camping a lot, make rafts etc.
