Will Young program on C4

[Storyline]

Did anyone watch Will Young"s program on C4 tonight? I found it incredibly sad , his poor parents. They looked broken , they clearly lay much of the blame at the door of his prep school . It changed their happy sons 😪

Could someone tell me as I think I might find it difficult to watch for various reasons - did the boys tell their parents what was happening at the time, or did they just keep quiet assuming this was what life was like/not wanting to worry their parents?

No @TheQuern the boys didn't tell their parents at the time. I felt so sorry for them last night.

My parents scrimped and saved to send us there and they had no idea what was going on. I think my mother would like to destroy those teachers if she could. I had to do a lot of work to get through that trauma.”

Poor parents. It’s terrifying what children don’t say, especially (generalising here and my personal opinion) boys…

@Storyline I feel exactly the same as Will"s mum about that school. Sadly, I think the decision to send our son there may destroy me first.I hope will makes a program about the school. All boys heaven, my god !.

@Oblomov22 - I think this is mental health awareness week with a focus this year on loneliness. I heard Will Young talking - I think on Radio 4 - about how he felt losing his twin and I think that is why C4 has released the programme now.

@Strugglingtodaywiththis Your son cannot be alone in his treatment at the school. I hope Will Young makes a documentary about his time at prep school. Sending 💐, please take care of yourself.
