Lunch box recommendations please!

DD takes a packed lunch to school a couple of times a week. The lunch boxes are left outside. She currently has a double decker one from Smiggle. I put in an ice pack and frozen frube but when we have a warm, sunny day, her food is warm by lunch time.

Are there any lunch boxes out there that will keep food from becoming warm and soggy when in the heat?

Ask school if a cool box or alternative spot can be provided? Sounds like they need to be aware, if you’re already doing ice packs. Does your DC have a small cool
bag to put the lunchbox inside?

I use a couple of ice packs a frozen Capri sun, food stays cold.

DD always had a cool bag where the lunchbox was inside. I normally had one to two ice packs depending on temperature and she always said food was cold. We always had a yoghurt or milk shake and she hates them warm-ish.

You can freeze juice packs or yoghurt pouches to help with keeping things cool but in my opinion they don't replace a cool bag.
