Just looking for some advice about appliances as there are so many options out there!
Vented induction hob - is it worth it? Will be on an island.
Single oven + combi or 2 x single? We never use our microwave but want flexibility of a second oven. Looking at Neff slide and hide for main oven.
American fridge freezer - plumbed or not? Definitely want ice and water dispenser.

I love my induction hob but it is a cheap one and I suspect, to an extent, you get what you pay for. I'm pretty sure there is a limit to this though.

I was really coveting the Neff oven but couldn't afford it. 2 thoughts (1) with my waist level drop down oven I can put any cooking on the door to stir or check in other ways. (2) If the door tucks away underneath, how do you get to it to clean it. So - again, although I still love the idea, I'm not convinced they are the best option in a home kitchen.

If you want ice and iced water then I definitely think plumbed is best. I didn't bother. For me the cost outweighed the benefit, but if I was going down the ice/iced water route then I would definitely try to afford the plumbed in version.

The one thing I didn't get that I really wish I had is 2 dishwashers. There would then always be a clean one and a dirty one with no need to put anything other than occasional items away. My most hated job is emptying the dishwasher.

I have the neff slide and hide and used to have the combi. Absolutely bloody love both of them! Really miss the combi oven. Such a useful appliance!!!

Ps, Cleaning the door on the oven isn't an issue at all. :)
